More about training at EMBL
EICAT, EMBL's International Centre for Advanced Training, is committed to excellence in training at all stages of careers in the life sciences. It promotes advanced training activities at all six EMBL sites, between EMBL and its sister institution EMBO, and with research organisations in the EMBL member states.
EMBL's internal training activities support PhD students, postdoctoral fellows and technology developers to advance their careers as members of an EMBL group or team. The EMBL Fellows’ Complementary Skills and the EMBL Fellows’ Career Service provide additional career development support tailored for EMBL PhD students and postdocs.
Its external training activities include a rich programme of courses and conferences, as well as supporting scientific visitors coming to the lab. The Science Education and Public Engagement office offers inspiring programmes for young learners, teachers and a diverse public.
