Annemarie Frischauf, former Group Leader and Austrian Council delegate, died on 9 October 2020 at the age of 73.

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the loss of Annemarie Frischauf. Annemarie was a Group Leader in the EMBL Cell Biology and Biophysics Unit from 1978 to 1987 and served as an EMBL Council delegate for her native Austria. She was a much loved member of the EMBL community who will be missed. May she rest in peace.
