Our mission is to train scientists. This blog is a platform for us to share updates on our annual programme, tips and tricks for scientists, new e-learning opportunities, and sometimes just something to make you smile.
Members of EMBL-EBI Training have recently published the FAIR Training Handbook; a guide to making training materials Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable.
The handbook follows on from the success of the team’s paper written in 2020 ‘Ten simple rules for making training materials FAIR‘. It was written for all training providers as a best practice guide to making your resources open, shareable, and reusable; all key pillars behind the training materials we provide here at EMBL.

We highly encourage any training providers to read through the 10-section handbook to discover how you too can make your materials FAIR; from the creation of the materials, all the way through to releasing and licensing them.
The handbook is an initiative of the ELIXIR FAIR training focus group. Congratulations to our EMBL-EBI Training team members who were involved in the publishing of the guide:
Patricia Carvajal López, Kim Gurwitz, Marta Lloret Llinares, and Anna Swan.
