EMBL Course
The European Molecular Biology Laboratory and Sartorius training programme bring you lectures from both faculty and industry experts to share our technologies and expertise on drug development. In this course we will explore the utilisation of cell-based technologies in the drug discovery process for small molecules, biologics and cell therapy. Additionally this program will provide hands-on experience of both the IncuCyte® S3 Live-Cell Analysis System and the iQue Screener PLUS platform to enable insight into cell-based experimental design and analysis.
This course is targeted at researchers working in the fields of pharmacology, chemical biology, biologicals, cell therapy, etc. who wish to learn more about the basics and challenges of high-throughput screening, assay development and lead profiling and characterisation.
After the course, participants will be able to:
– Understand how live-cell analysis techniques can be applied in drug discovery for assay development, target screening, lead profiling and characterisation.
– Learn how to design and analyse multi-parametric cell-based experimental assays that are applicable across multiple therapeutic areas.
This course is co-organised with Sartorius.
