Health & safety policy – onsite courses & conferences
Please refrain from attending your course or conference if you are in the contagious stage of influenza, COVID or another easily-transmitted disease.
If you are pregnant and participating in a training course at EMBL, you should contact us well in advance of travelling so that risks can be considered specific to the course and measures put in place. For both courses and conferences, please also consider properly any restrictions on travel or work for expectant mothers that may apply to you.
Smoking is not permitted on the campus at EMBL Heidelberg except at designated areas (eg: ATC rooftop terrace)
Please make yourself aware of the fire evacuation procedure at the venue. This is presented at the start of events and is available in print at the ATC reception
Please follow any safety instructions from the EMBL staff and trainers onsite at the venue
Lab safety measures communicated for training courses, including the use of personal protective equipment are mandatory to participation
At the social events, if drinking alcohol, please do so responsibly
