Enhancing the GWAS catalog to enable searching for exposure assocations

The GWAS Catalog is a comprehensive public repository of all published genome-wide association studies (GWAS). Significant associations are extracted from publications and authors may additionally submit full genome-wide summary statistics files to enable a wider range of downstream analyses. Data is QC’d, structured and richly annotated to ensure it is Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (FAIR). This project will enhance the GWAS Catalog for GxE research through analysing all existing traits in the catalogue and annotating with searchable ontology terms into phenotype and exposure.
