Metabolomics is the large-scale study of small molecules, commonly known as metabolites, within cells, biofluids, tissues or organisms. Collectively, these small molecules and their interactions within a biological system are known as the metabolome. Metabolomics is key to understanding the impacts of environmental exposures not only on metabolic function but is also a tool for measuring exposures to chemical compounds.  This project aims to facilitate the transfer of knowledge across EMBL sites to enhance the utility of EMBL services (Metabolomics Core Facility and MetaboLights repository) to external communities.
