Understanding exposure impacts on cancer differentiation.

This project harnesses the unique expertise at EMBL using stem-cell-based models of the lung (Dayton group) and molecular analyses of human patient data (Cortes-Ciriano group) to study the interplay between environmental factors and susceptibility of the lung epithelium to tumorigenesis and other respiratory diseases. The project aims to incorporate epidemiological expertise to link molecular and phenotypic responses to environmental factors across scales.
