We are very happy to welcome our new Service Manager Virginia. From now on, she supports the operation of the EMBL Imaging Centre regarding all its services, but especially takes care of our users. She is the IC’s point of contact and provides help around access procedures, the project execution as well as user training (ic-contact@embl.de).

About Virginia: Virginia holds a BSc in Biology from the University of Florence. After her MSc studies in Cellular and Molecular Biotechnology at the University of Trento she joined the lab of Oliver Fackler at the Center for Integrative Infectious Disease Research at the University Hospital in Heidelberg. Over the past 6 years she focussed on molecular mechanisms of HIV-1 pathogenesis and innate sensing.
