We are happy to welcome in our team Julian as image analysis specialist. He supports the EM team and our users in cryo-EM data analysis workflows, including single-particle analysis, tomography and correlative light and electron microscopy techniques. Julian aims also to develop software framework for new image acquisition and data analysis tailored to our services. 

About Julian: He studied at the University of Heidelberg, where he obtained a BSc and MSc in Molecular Biotechnology. He completed his PhD at EMBL Heidelberg last year in the Schwab Lab with a thesis on “Image analysis in volume SEM datasets”.
