Open access to cutting-edge electron and light microscopy
We provide researchers from Europe and beyond with a synergistic portfolio of imaging services including cryo-EM, super-resolution and intravital microscopy to enable new ground-breaking research that crosses the scales of biology.
We are happy to welcome in our team Tzu-Lun Wang as Engineer in advanced optical/light microscopy and Nazli Celik as Administrator.
Tzu-Lun joined the LM service team in October after working for two years as Scientific Expert at Resolve Biosciences in Monheim am Rhein, where he worked on high-resolution high-throughput imaging for spatial transcriptomics.
After obtaining a PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Göttingen, he gained expertise in mesoscopic two-photon and light sheet microscopy and adaptive optical microscopy as a postdoctoral fellow at the Research Center Caesar in Bonn, Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich, and University of Twente in the Netherlands.
At the EMBL IC, Tzu-Lun is focused in setting-up, testing, running and maintaining novel and custom advanced light microscopy systems and their control software.
