The MMPU is a joint venture between the Medical Faculties of the University of Heidelberg and the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL).

Within the MMPU, different fellowship opportunities exist at the PhD-student and postdoctoral (MD and PhD) level. These fellowships are awarded on a competitive basis to highly qualified and motivated applicants.
If you are interested in becoming a predoc in one of the MMPU’s ten groups you are invited to visit the individual MMPU Research Groups websites and to get in touch with the MMPU group leader of interest.
Predoctoral applicants state their interest in MMPU research and apply via the EMBL International PhD Programme (EIPP), via the MD/PhD Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Biosciences or via the Hartmut Hoffmann-Berling International Graduate School of Molecular and Cellular Biology (HBIGS).
