I enjoyed the scientific culture at EMBL, the focus on science and the exciting scientific discussions a lot. Being at EMBL you get into contact with advanced, state-of-the art or not-yet state-of-the-art technology. This allows you to wonder and test how this technology might be useful for your own project.

EMBL provided me with the chance to have a scientific experience abroad working with high level scientists. This opportunity allowed me to grow professionally, developing new skills such as the ability to work in an interdisciplinary/multicultural team and improved my problem solving skills in different areas.

I have never experienced any research institution where scientists and technical staff are so open to discuss your research and generous in offering their help.
