During this past Christmas season, and in celebration of the Szilárd Library’s 50th anniversary and the 45th anniversary of its inauguration, we hosted a festive book flea market.

A wide selection of deaccessioned and donated books, along with beautiful handmade crafts, were offered for voluntary contribution.

Thanks to the generous support and kind donations from EMBL staff, we were able to raise 428 Euros. This entire amount was donated to Katharina Labouré Haus, a local home dedicated to the care and well-being of elderly people in our community.
