Librarians are pleased to announce new content and tools available in 2025, along with on-site activities in Heidelberg.
Ahead of Christmas, librarians are organizing a book flea market to raise donations for the library of elderly people home “Katharina Labouré Haus” in Heidelberg.
On the occasion of the 50th EMBL anniversary, on Wednesday 15.5.2024 from 13h to 15h, there will be a video recording in the Szilárd Library.
Due to internal event, the library area needs to remain closed for the users.
Thanks to everyone who joined our Christmas Book Flea Market at the Szilard Library - we managed to raise 514 Euros for Stiftung COURAGE at the Heidelberg University Hospital
The Szilárd Library is hosting a book flea market in the Library reading room (ATC building) starting on December 4th.
Starting from 1st of January 2024, Szilárd Library will expand the services to EMBL-EBI and EMBL Barcelona site, unifying services across all EMBL sites for the first time since its establishment in 1979.
On Friday, November 24th, the library will be closed from 12:00 to 15:00 due to a special event organized by the Resource Development office. You can use Meeting Room B18 in ATC as an alternative workspace from 12:00 to 15:00.
On Wednesday, October 25th, the library will be closed all day due to EMBLEM Supervisory Board. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Szilárd Library Team!
