PubMed
PubMed comprises more than 28 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full-text content from PubMed Central and publisher web sites.

LIVIVO is an interdisciplinary search engine for literature and information in the field of life sciences run by ZB MED – Information Centre for Life Sciences. LIVIVO draws on relevant scientific information from the subject areas of medicine, health, nutrition, and environmental and agricultural sciences. It offers more than 58 million references to curated life sciences literature and user-friendly semantic search technology.
Google Scholar
Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites.
F1000Prime
F1000Prime is an in-depth directory to the top articles in biology and medicine. Allows the user to set up an account and receive articles according to their interests in the areas of biology and medicine, as well as comment on them with a community of researchers.

WikiPathways
WikiPathways is an open, public platform dedicated to the curation of biological pathways by and for the scientific community. WikiPathways thus presents a new model for pathway databases that enhances and complements ongoing efforts, such as KEGG, Reactome and Pathway Commons. Building on the same MediaWiki software that powers Wikipedia, a custom graphical pathway editing tool and integrated databases were added, covering major gene, protein, and small-molecule systems.
The BioStudies
The BioStudies database holds descriptions of biological studies, links to data from these studies in other databases at EMBL-EBI or outside, as well as data that do not fit in the structured archives at EMBL-EBI. The database can accept a wide range of types of studies described via a simple format. It also enables manuscript authors to submit supplementary information and link to it from the publication.
