The EMBL Insight Lecture is presented each year by a senior EMBL scientist and aims at 16+ students. The lecture in December 2018 was attended by 170 high school students on the EMBL campus in Heidelberg as well as 830 students from 15 countries in Europe and beyond via live-streaming.
