Formerly known as European Learning Laboratory for the Life Sciences
Our inspiring educational experiences share the scientific discoveries of EMBL with young learners aged 10-19 years and teachers in Europe and beyond. We belong to EMBL’s Science Education and Public Engagement office.
EMBL School Ambassadors
Our EMBL School Ambassadors are enthusiastic young scientists who have chosen careers in the interdisciplinary life sciences. They are visiting schools around Europe to share their experiences of how it feels to work as a scientist. The EMBL School Ambassadors give an idea of the type of opportunities and careers that are out there, talk about exciting developments in life science research and how they contribute to the world we live in.
