What tree is it?
Can you find barcodes in a quarry?
What can molecular biology teach you about biodiversity?
We will try to answer these and other questions during our ELLS LearningLAB “Biodiversity in focus – exploring the barcode of life” which will start today. The ELLS team and colleagues from HeidelbergCement are looking forward to collaborating with European secondary school science teachers from 14 European countries to assess quarry biodiversity with a toolkit consisting of wet-lab DNA technologies and bioinformatics.
