Open position for a postdoctoral researcher

We are searching for a postdoctoral researcher with a strong background in bioinformatics / biostatistics / computer science. Experience in working with high-resolution mass spectrometry data is beneficial. Experience in imaging mass spectrometry is welcome but not necessary. The successful candidate is expected to take a strong lead on his/her independent project with the topic to be proposed by the applicant and discussed with the Principal Investigator to fit it into the research of the team. Strong collaboration either with experimental groups at EMBL or with bioinformatics groups at EMBL-EBI should be a part of the project.

Students with interest in bioinformatics and computational biology at the interplay of mass spectrometry, metabolomics, imaging, and big data analysis are welcome.
