Applicants for PhD and post-doctoral positions

Currently there are opportunities to join our research group as a PhD student or postdoctoral researcher.

We are looking for candidates with a strong background in physics or mathematics, ideally with experience in theoretical soft matter physics or nonlinear dynamics. Experience or a strong interest to work with biological systems, in particular cell or developmental biology, is beneficial. An overview of possible research areas is given on the group homepage, but candidates will have the opportunity to develop their own ideas and will be encouraged to interact with experimental collaborators within EMBL and internationally. PhD students need to apply through the EMBL International PhD programme.
