Marcia Group (Visiting)

Structure and function of lncRNA-protein complexes regulating development and stress responses

Open positions

Joining the lab

Currently there are opportunities to join our research group as a Research Technician, Postdoctoral Researchers, and PhD and Master students.

Applicants for PhD positions or Master students

Students will have the opportunity to learn and develop a variety of biochemical and biophysical techniques to study the molecular interactions between long non coding RNAs and nuclear proteins, which regulate gene expression processes.
Students are expected to be highly motivated to work on challenging research projects in an international team.

PhD applicants: Please apply through the EMBL International PhD Programme.

Master students: Please have a look at the pages for Visitors and Undergraduates and send your CV and a brief motivation letter by email to Marco Marcia.

Applicants for postdoctoral positions

A variety of projects are available for interested postdoctoral candidates. Experience with RNA structure probing and biophysical techniques is beneficial. It is expected that the candidates take a strong lead on their projects to develop independent areas of research.

For all questions, please contact Marco Marcia by email and attach your CV and a brief motivation letter of your research interests.
