A mobile, interdisciplinary facility for light microscopy, flow cytometry, and electron microscopy preparation

Confocal laser scanning microscope – LSM900, Zeiss

Living as well as chemically fixed specimens can be imaged. Specific structures such as membranes or cytoskeleton can be stained with different fluorescent dyes and observed simultaneously. 

Scanning through a stack of optical sections allows 3D reconstruction of the specimen.

AI-guided acquisition allows for overview imaging with automated zoom-in or photomanipulation jobs on regions of interest.
