Virtual P12 User Meeting, October 9 -10, 2024

Scope

With this day and a half long online meeting we wish to stimulate the exchange of information between the SAXS team at EMBL Hamburg and our user community.

We will highlight recent developments at our beamline and showcase exciting scientific advancements achieved with SAXS from P12.

News and Updates from the SAXS Team, including a special talk on time-resolved SAXS and SAXS beyond proteins.
User Projects Fresh Off the Press, covering topics such as IDPs, integrative structural biology, and SAXS for the characterization of LNPs.
Flash Talk Session featuring SAXS highlights from around the globe.
Tips and Tricks from the User Office and a roundtable discussion hosted by our PEC members — let us know what works well at P12 and what updates you would like!
Outlook on new developments, including an update on the PETRAIV project.
Satellite Session on AF4-Coupled SAXS — hear the experiences from our first-time users and learn about sample requirements.
ATSAS 4.0 Workshop (hosted by BIOSAXS).

Abstract submission for flash talk: September 30

This event is free of charge.
All current P12 users and anyone interested in learning more about the opportunities at P12 are welcome to register and join us for the 3rd edition of the P12 User Meeting.
In preparation for the next call for beamline proposals, we will provide further information.
We especially encourage current users, particularly young scientists, to sign up for a Flash Presentation (5-minute slots). Submit an abstract by September 30th to be selected.
