One of the many things that make EMBL unique is the way its community embraces and thrives on curiosity

Since EMBL’s founding in 1974, curiosity has fueled our research, led to new services that benefit the scientific community, given light to new inventions and applications, fostered new collaborations, and attracted other curious minds.

As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we would like to show how this concept is present in everything we do and pay tribute to all the people who make EMBL truly unique.
