The Alliance is a unique network of inter-institutional research and development in the fields of medicine, life sciences and medical engineering and brings together a diverse range of disciplines and experts.
The activities of the Alliance partners include appointing top scientists, supporting junior researchers with cross-institutional programmes, and tapping into new potential in the areas of translating research to patient care and its transfer into technological applications. The alliance aims to strengthen the life sciences in all areas, from fundamental research and research into prevention to disease diagnosis and therapy and new technologies.
