When travelling from Lyon-Saint Exupéry airport to Grenoble, tickets can be bought from the Airport shuttle bus Lyon-Saint Exupéry–Grenoble counter (Satobus) inside the airport or in the bus. A single ticket costs 22€, a return ticket 33€.

The bus leaves from the bus stand situated between Terminals 1 and 2, Level 1. On its approach to Grenoble, the bus leaves the motorway and turns up Avenue des Martyrs. If asked, the bus driver will stop at the roundabout just after the bridge Pont d'Oxford, which leads on to Avenue des Martyrs. This stop "Place de la Résistance" is within easy walking distance of the EMBL site.

In Grenoble, the Satobus leaves for the airport from the central bus station 'Gare Routière', which is next to Grenoble train station. However, its route takes it along Avenue des Martyrs, where it has an official stop at the city bus stop "Place de la Résistance", a 'Satobus' sign also indicates the stop. If you wish to catch the shuttle bus from this stop to avoid going to the central bus station, you must make a sign to the driver, otherwise he will not stop! In this case, tickets can be bought directly from the driver.

In Grenoble follow the signs for 'Gare Europole' or 'Polygone Scientifique' to reach the EMBL.

EMBL Grenoble is located on the EPN science campus and visitors can be accommodated in the Guesthouse.
